Family Discounts:
The first child is full price. Each additional child will receive 20% off monthly tuition.
Policies:
Tuition and Fees:
Monthly tuition is due on the first day of every month. There will be a $ 25.00 late fee charged for any tuition that is not paid in full by the 8th day of each month. No student will be allowed to continue dancing if any part of the tuition is delinquent beyond the 20th of each month, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon prior to the class time.
There will be a $ 30.00 service fee on all returned checks.
There is a yearly registration fee of $ 25.00 per family.
Tuition is non-refundable and no adjustments will be made for days missed due to illness, personal inconvenience, vacations, school activities or any other reason.
Tuition is based on a 4-week calendar month. The months containing 5 weeks will include an extra week of dance at no additional charge. This will be balanced out during the weeks that the studio will be closed for vacations, holidays, and other related reasons.
Please make all checks payable to Michelle’s Dance X-Plosion (MDX). Please print student’s first and last name in the memo section of your check.
If you are paying by cash please obtain a receipt from the front desk or dance instructor.
Please make all payment arrangements in writing with the front desk or studio director.
Missed Classes:
If a student misses a group class they can attend a level-appropriate ballet or technique class. You must coordinate this make-up lesson with the instructor prior to the missed class or within the same week of the missed class. All make-up classes must be taken in the same calendar month of the missed lesson.
Any class cancelled by an instructor will be made up within a 2 week time period.
If you participate in a duet / trio and your partner(s) are absent you should still attend the regular scheduled class time.
If you miss a solo lesson it will be made up only if time permits by the instructor.
Switching a solo or duet/trio class is not allowed without informing the instructor.
We DO NOT close for summer vacation. Tuition must remain consistent throughout the summer. If you go on vacation you may make-up your classes in a level appropriate technique class. Tuition must remain consistent through summer months.

Class Rules:
You must arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled dance time. This will allow time to check in at the front desk and get ready for class. You must check in at the front desk or with your instructor prior to the start of your first lesson of the day.
You must wear appropriate dance clothing to all dance lessons. Please do not wear loose clothing, T-shirts or Jeans. Secure hair up and out of the face. Appropriate dance shoes are required for all classes. Dance Sneakers are not allowed in jazz class. Ballet attire is required for all ballet classes.
Please do not disturb an instructor during a class. If you need to speak with them please do so in-between classes.
There is no gum, food or drink allowed on the dance floor at any time. Food and drink are permitted in the break room. Please dispose of all of your garbage.
Not Returning to Class:
Any student who drops out of a dance class or studio must do so in writing. Please have a written statement turned into the office 2 weeks prior to your last day. Failure to submit a notice will result in being liable for the next billing statements until a 2 week notice is given.
Non-Refundable Statement:
All tuition, late fees, registration, costume fees, competition fees, production fees and all other fees are non-refundable for any reason.
Bulletin Board / E-mail:
Please check the bulletin board and your e-mail on a regular basis to ensure you are aware of all upcoming events and studio information.
The bulletin board and e-mails will assist in communication between instructors and families on class developments. This may include, but is not limited to, things your child should be practicing, items needed for class (i.e., shoes, hair styles), costumes, etc.
Annual Dance Recital and Pictures:
Every student will participate in our annual dance recital and yearly pictures. They will perform their regular performance routine as well as in the finale. All students are required to attend this event. Pictures will be taken for all group classes and every student is required to attend pictures even if they choose not to purchase any photographs.
** These price incentives require a commitment for the entire season. If for any reason you terminate your enrollment you will be responsible to pay for any discounted rates from the start of the season until the date of termination. These incentives are good for the current season only. The prices are based per student. **

If your child has any special needs please advise the instructor prior to their first lesson.
